Journey into photography
My journey into photography began unexpectedly. I started as a model for others but soon realized I wanted to create my own images. What started as a creative curiosity soon turned into a passion for capturing moments that truly matter.
My first step into professional photography came when a friend asked me to photograph their bubble tea shop. That experience sparked a love for storytelling through images, leading me to take on more commercial projects, including food photography for a bakery. Later, I was invited to photograph my company’s event, where I captured special moments and business portraits. Seeing my colleagues proudly use my photos as their professional profile images filled me with joy and pride.
Eventually, I decided to open my own studio in Auckland, New Zealand, and began taking formal bookings as a maternity, newborn, and family photographer. One of my most cherished moments was capturing a family portrait, where I saw firsthand how photography can create genuine connections and touch the heart.
Today, photography is not just my profession but my greatest passion—a way to celebrate beauty, preserve precious memories, and cherish the bonds that make life so meaningful.
